Off-grid hostel on a lava field in Pahoa

The hostel sits directly on a lava field, 13 minutes on foot from Kaimu Beach. It operates completely off the electric grid, using solar panels and rainwater. Lava Tree State Park is 18 km away, and Lava Tree State Monument is 21 km from the property.
